Frequently when people want a glimpse or more of the future, they seek out a psychic or clairvoyant person to help them.  These two terms have become stock words for those who can tell others things that are going to happen that most people are not able to know.  But not many people realise that there are other additional senses that some of us that inform us about what is going on in the past, present and future. 

To Hear from Different Sources

Clairaudience is one of those senses, and it is the ability to hear.  To hear messages from spirit, divine messengers, ancestors and guides.  Clairaudience is a gift and should not be confused or mistaken for psychosis. Clairaudient people are highly tuned to awareness of their own inner voice and that which are messages.  People can be clairaudient and intuitive and I believe that a strong sense of both offer wonderful guidance and genuine abilities that help them and other people.

Sometimes the voice heard is clear and distinct and at others, it can be harder to grasp and hear.  Those who possess more than one of the clairs might see, hear, feel, smell and so on at the same time to receive the correct message.

How it Happens

Sometimes, the voice, the words, just come.  At times they can have an urgency to them, like “Stop! Don’t go along that road, take another route”.  This is something that happens to me a lot and I’ve learnt to trust this message and always find an alternative route.  Why? Because, when checked on the news, there has been a road traffic collision, a tree falling or other events that I would have otherwise been caught up in.  I have not been distracted by being told the full explanation, but I have been told enough and with enough clarity and urgency to make me take notice without disturbing my driving.

The sound heard can be spoken words, a single name, letter, phrase, lyrics, animal noises and music.  Lyrics and unearthly music that I would otherwise never hear are common.  The voices and how they are heard vary enormously. There is no set style or way.  Some are recognisable as those I have heard before.  When giving readings, I am often guided by the same guides from the Keepers of the Light or my own guardian angels or the person’s guardian angels or ancestors.  One of the main way’s I receive the guidance and messages for other people is through spoken words.

The music I hear may be familiar music, known or unknown classical, popular or other music genres.  However, the unearthly music is heaven sent.  It is so beautiful, powerful, exciting, and relaxing at the same time; it always brings me feelings of joy and hope.

Gaining Clarity

At times as well as being shown, I am told things from my past that once I am told make perfect sense.  I have learnt a lot about my own earthly life from people who have passed on, who knew people I have known and who tell me the facts about a situation.  I remember an occasion a few years ago when I had very clear information and messages from a person who was still alive.  I didn’t know them. I knew of them because they were famous and someone I’d known had worked with them.  I awoke, convinced that I would learn that the person had passed on.  That was not the case; I read later that day that they had just had a major cancer operation and were under anesthetic in an operating theatre when I was receiving the messages from them that gave me clarity about something in my past.  The messages gave me clarity and enabled me to move on from a misunderstanding.   I gave thanks to my angels for the message I had received.

Telepathy

Clairaudience should not be confused with telepathy.  It is not telepathy with other people or living earthly beings.  Telepathy is a whole different gift and skill.  The messages I refer to above were passed to me via the mutual friend who was watching over his old pal and who is one of my guardian angels.

Happily Clairaudient

Clairaudience is a powerful tool when correctly used.  It goes hand in hand with the other clairs that help those of us who embrace their abilities for the higher good of helping others.
