Clairvoyance
Clairvoyant is a word that is often misused. As well as guided intuition and psychic phenomenon, there are actually four clairs. Those of us who help others through our additional senses may possess one, two or all of the senses as well as guided intuition and psychic abilities. Clairvoyant is just one of those senses, and it is the ability to receive messages visually. We see the messages from guides, spirit, divine messengers, ancestors and angels.
Clairvoyance the Gift of Seeing
Those who see through clairvoyance are shown pictures as stills or in what looks like a movie clip. Frequently what we see is a projection of short clips that represent what we need to pass on. Occasionally though, we are shown something distressing. In those circumstances, we find a kind way to address the message rather than saying exactly what is seen. Always, is the knowledge that what is shown is only one possible outcome and as part of a reading, those of us with strong intuitive skills will also piece together the fuller message, which is if you continue with x, then x will happen.
Clairvoyance is not a party trick; we can ask to be shown particular things; however, we are shown what we or the person we are reading for needs to know or should be aware of, rather than what we want or think we need to know.
Those with the clairvoyance gift are known as clairvoyants. Those who do not possess that particular ability should not be referred to as clairvoyant. However, the four clairs and guided intuition are often lumped together under the term of clairvoyant or clairvoyance.
Clairvoyants cannot cause or alter events. A clairvoyant can only report what they are shown. Crucially though, a clairvoyant is shown one possible future. The future as it is at the time of the precognition. Because we all have free will and have more than one possible future available to us, the future shown may not be the future that happens. However, what is shown or reported is the most likely happening and is based on the energy at the time of the reading.
How Does it Work
Like the other gifts, clairvoyance is a gift that those of us with a natural ability can develop. Most psychics and those possessing the clairs have had their gift or gifts all of their lives. Those who do readings for others have either chosen to develop or clearly been shown that it is the path they should be on, as in my case. Whilst you can develop existing gifts, it is not something that you can learn without the guided gift.
Even in individual readings, it is common for the visions shown to be metaphorical, old fashioned or broad. The seer needs to use their skills to find the crux of the message. I like though that sometimes I can say something like:
‘I am seeing a meadow with wildflowers, it is significant in some way.’
Even though the message seems vague to me, the person has just bought some land to grow flowers to market.
Other messages may be less literal and require intuitive skills to decipher. At times I am shown something that I know is from my own past as a way to give a clear message to the recipient.
Clairvoyance is known as ‘clear seeing’ in the French language; perhaps a better description would be ‘the ability to see things that are not available to the main five senses’.
If you suspect that you have the gift of clairvoyance and want to develop it, then an excellent place to start is by meditating using an angel guided meditation and take notes afterwards of all that you saw during your meditation. If you are supposed to develop the skill, you will be shown during meditation and led to someone who can help you by mentoring you in the various gifts. Developing your skill takes time and effort.
How Clairvoyance Works with Card Readings
Some people think that anyone can pick up a deck of tarot or oracle cards and learn from them. That is not the case. To successfully use the cards, you must have the pre-existing ability. Many of us who use cards also use them as a prop. At times when doing a reading for someone, the visions begin before the cards are even touched. At other times the ritual of preparing the cards and the space act as an invitation that you are ready to get to work and receive messages. Crucially, without the cards as a tool, many of us with the abilities would be constantly bombarded with messages, which is something that would interfere with our daily lives.
Generally, when clairvoyance is the gift being used, the vision will come when we see the card. We will see the picture on the card, then be shown the significance of that picture.
I don’t choose which gifts I use for readings, those giving me the information decide how to give me the message. I am blessed to have some fantastic guides and that clairvoyance is just one of the additional senses provided to me as a tool to help others.
